Messy Church

In Birnie Pluscarden Messy Church began in 2017 when a group of Birnie Pluscarden Church Elders hoped to encourage more families to feel comfortable within the church community. Sunday School, Sunday Clubs and Bible Classes had ceased; it appeared that the church wasn’t offering anything that really appealed to local families.

The group felt they had the enthusiasm, the facilities and the opportunities. They had willing volunteers and creative people in the church, within their families and circle friends so they decided to have a go!

The focus for Birnie Pluscarden Messy Church is Messy FAMILY Fun and has something for all ages together – whether its parent and child, grandparent and grandchild, or, members and friends of the church coming along for a cup of tea and a blether!
